Fourth Grade Music Class builds on all of the concepts introduced in the prior elementary grades, as well as getting students ready for middle school music.  Fourth graders will read both rhythmic and melodic notation, become more adept at recorder playing, learn folk dances, music creation and improvisation, and learn basic knowledge about instruments that they may have the chance to play as older students.
