Welcome to First Grade Music!
First Grade Music Class includes many components including singing, puppets, playing instruments, and moving! Students will demonstrate awareness of pitch and beat, as well as be able to explore space and sound, and contribute to the creation of music.
Meet Herman! Herman is a puppet friend who sings the song "Hello, to you, clap your hands," and does a variety of movements with the students while singing!
Each Music class, Mrs. Chernich brings her "Surprise Bag" with her! Inside the bag could be a puppet friend or special instrument! Ask your child what was in the Surprise Bag this week!
