Welcome to Third Grade Music!
Third Grade Music Class includes has many components including singing and vocal skills, beginning recorder skills, playing pitched and unpitched percussion, and reading both rhythmic and melodic notation!
Third grade is a big year because third graders get to begin playing the recorder! We hope to begin playing them soon!
3rd Grade students also have an evening performance in the spring! Our performance is called the "3rd Grade Michigan Program" and includes singing, speaking parts, and playing the recorder! All students will participate and choose whether they want to represent U of M or MSU, as well as whether or not they would like a speaking part.
